How to Become a Cyber Fellow

Apply to the Cyber Fellows program now and you’ll receive an admissions decision in approximately 15 days. Your next steps:

  • Complete your application
  • Select the online M.S. in Cybersecurity program
    • Select YES when asked about applying for NYU Cyber Fellows
  • Submit:
    • Your resume
    • A Statement of Purpose (250 words)
    • A copy of your unofficial transcript(s)
    • Two professional references

Scholarships

Please note that for Alumni and Industry Partners, NYU Tandon Digital Learning scholarships cannot be combined.

A 20% scholarship is available to our industry partners. Not sure you qualify? You can reach out to tandon.partners@nyu.edu.


Our NYU alumnus also qualify for a 20% scholarship to our online graduate programs. 


NYU Cyber Fellows Advisory Council member and Senior Fellow with the NYU Center for Cybersecurity, Omkhar Arasaratnam and wife Sabrina, generously provide scholarships for students pursuing a master’s degree in cybersecurity through New York University’s Cyber Fellows program.

The S&K Scholarship strives to support a new generation of engineers in an inclusive environment that breaks down barriers that have historically led to the underrepresentation of women and minorities in STEM. This scholarship is awarded to a selection of students who demonstrate financial need, academic merit, and a commitment to engaging with the cybersecurity community.

We strongly encourage women identifying students to apply.
